Will the LinkFixer Advanced Cure process work if my Inoculate database is missing?

Yes!
The Cure process does not depend on the database created during inoculation.
How Cure works
- During inoculation, LinkIDs and FileIDs (hidden “locator beacons”) are inserted directly into your files and links.
- Cure uses these IDs to reconnect parent files with the correct child files.
- The database is not required for this — Cure relies only on the IDs inside the files themselves.
Why database isn't needed
- Database data collected before migration is usually outdated once files are moved or renamed.
- Because of this, LinkFixer Advanced ignores any database data during Cure and instead uses the embedded IDs.
