Will LinkFixer Advanced create new versions of files in SharePoint?

Yes. LinkFixer Advanced is designed to work with SharePoint’s document versioning feature.
If version control is enabled in SharePoint, any LinkFixer Advanced process that modifies files—such as Inoculate, Cure, Move/Rename, or Modify Links—will result in the creation of a new version of the file.
SharePoint will record the new version with:
- The current date and time of the modification
- The Modified By field set to the user running LinkFixer Advanced
The type of version created depends on the versioning settings in the SharePoint library:
- If the library is configured to Create major versions, LinkFixer Advanced will create a new major version when a file is modified.
- If the library is configured to Create major and minor (draft) versions, LinkFixer Advanced will create a new minor (draft) version when a file is modified.
