Overview
LinkFixer Advanced collects limited usage information strictly for diagnostic and support purposes. This data helps improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the overall user experience.
The application gathers general, non-sensitive usage statistics, including:
- Number of files processed
- Number of links processed
- Types of files processed
- License-related information (e.g., company name and contact name)
LinkFixer Advanced does not collect or transmit:
- File names
- File paths or locations
- File contents
At no point are your actual files or their contents accessed or shared through usage data collection.
Network Requirements
It is recommended to keep port 443 (HTTPS) open.
If port 443 is blocked:
- You will not be able to submit support tickets through the application
- Software update checks will not function
- Usage data will not be transmitted
All usage information is sent securely over this port.
