What is a "cross reference" report?

A Regular Report displays parent files along with the child files referenced by links within those parent files.
In contrast, a Cross Reference Report reverses this perspective. It displays each child file along with a list of the parent files that contain links pointing to it.
Key Difference
Regular Report:
Parent file → lists associated child files
Cross Reference Report:
Child file → lists all parent files that reference it
