Logs are an essential part of troubleshooting issues in LinkFixer Advanced. They provide detailed information about application activity and errors, which helps support teams diagnose and resolve problems more efficiently.

Log settings can be configured by navigating to:
Main Menu (☰) → Settings → Logs tab

Below are the available log levels and logging management options.

Log Levels

The Log Level drop-down menu controls the amount of information recorded in the log files.

Off

Selecting Off disables all logging.

Note: This option is not recommended. If logging is disabled, there will be no log data available for troubleshooting if a technical issue occurs.

Basic

Selecting Basic minimizes the amount of information recorded in the log file. This helps keep log file sizes small during normal operation.

Basic is the default setting and is recommended for everyday use.

Detailed

Selecting Detailed enables debug-level logging, which records significantly more information about application activity.

This option:
  1. Produces larger log files
  2. Provides detailed diagnostic information
  3. Helps identify issues with specific files or links
Support may request this setting when investigating a problem.

Log File Management Options
