If your computer does not have Internet access, you can activate LinkFixer Advanced using the Offline Activation method. Please note that this can apply if license agreement terms includes Offline Activation. Follow the steps below:
Offline Activation Steps
1. From the hamburger menu, select Activate License.
2. Enter the License ID and Password that were provided when you purchased your license.
3. Select an activation method.
Choose Offline if the computer is not connected to the Internet, then click Activate.
This process requires generating a license request file, which must be sent to the licensing server using a computer that has Internet access.
4. Click Save, choose a location to store the Request.xml file, and then click Next.
5. Transfer the Request.xml file and the licensing server web address to a computer that has Internet access.
6. On the Internet-connected computer:
Open a web browser and paste the licensing server web address into the address bar.
Either copy and paste the contents of the Request.xml file into the form on the page, or upload the file directly.
Click Submit.
On the Response page, click Download to save the Response.xml file. This file must be transferred back to the offline computer to complete activation.
7. Transfer the Response.xml file to the offline computer.
8. On the LinkFixer Advanced Response File screen, click Load… and browse to the location of the Response.xml file.
9. After loading the file, click Activate.
A confirmation message will appear indicating that LinkFixer Advanced has been successfully activated.
Important Warning
Do not cancel or exit the Offline Activation process until you have received, loaded, and activated your license using the Response.xml file.
The Request.xml and Response.xml files are valid only for the specific activation session in which they were generated. If you close the Offline Activation screen and start the process again later, you must restart the entire activation process from the beginning. The previous Response.xml file will no longer work with a new activation
session.
