Is it possible to Inoculate and Cure folder links?

LinkFixer Advanced can recognize and handle folder links. You can use the Modify Links or Move/Rename processes on these links.

Important limitation

  1. ❌ Inoculate and Cure do not work on folder links
  2. Why? Folders don't contain metadata where LinkFixer Advanced can store its unique identifier (LinkID)
  3. without this "locator beacon, it's technically impossible to inoculate or cure folder links.

What you can do instead

After running Cure on your regular files in the new location:
  1. Create rename rules.
  2. Use Modify Links to update folder links, so they point to the correct new location.
