LinkFixer Advanced (version 5.3 and later) supports importing multiple SharePoint Online credentials via a CSV file. This feature is designed to improve efficiency and help mitigate throttling by allowing bulk configuration of user accounts.
Prepare the CSV File
1. Download and open the template file: “SharePoint Online IDs Import Template.csv.”
2. Populate the file as follows:
Column A – Authentication Method
Specify one of the following:
UsernamePassword – For non-MFA accounts
Office365NoConsent – For MFA-enabled accounts (does not retain “modified by” and “modified date” fields)
Office365 – Recommended for MFA-enabled accounts (retains “modified by” and “modified date” fields)
Column B – Username
Enter the SharePoint Online user IDs.
Column C – Password
Enter the corresponding passwords.
Leave this field blank for Office365 and Office365NoConsent authentication types.
Column D – Password Encrypted by LFA
Set this value to FALSE.
Save the file in CSV format.
Import the CSV File into LinkFixer Advanced
1. Open the menu (hamburger icon) in the top-left corner.
2. Select Network Locations.
3. Click Add | SharePoint.
4. Enter the SharePoint Online site collection URL.
5. Enable Multiple Credentials by selecting the checkbox.
6. Click Import.
7. Locate and select your prepared CSV file.
Additional Steps for MFA Accounts
For Office365 and Office365NoConsent authentication types:
- You will be prompted to enter passwords for each user ID.
- This step is required only once per user ID per machine.
Final Step
Click Test Connection to verify that all credentials are configured correctly.
Once completed, your SharePoint Online accounts will be successfully imported and ready for use.
