How does LinkFixer Advanced handle “check-out” in SharePoint?

LinkFixer Advanced can successfully move or rename files within SharePoint regardless of whether the “Require documents to be checked out before they can be edited” setting is enabled or disabled.
However, when using the LinkFixer Advanced Inoculate and Cure functions to repair links in SharePoint, this setting must be disabled before moving inoculated files into the SharePoint environment.

If the setting remains enabled, files transferred to SharePoint—whether via Windows Explorer, RoboCopy, or other file transfer methods—will be uploaded in a checked-out state. As a result, LinkFixer Advanced will not be able to perform the Cure operation on these files until they have been properly checked in.
