How do I make a rename rule for the "Network Share" component of my links?

The Network Share refers to the portion of a UNC file path that identifies the shared resource on the local network. It does not include the folders or files within the resource.
Example: \\SERVER\SERVER-N

Step-By-Step Guide

  1. Open LinkFixer Advanced and select Move/Rename.

  2. Select "Create Rules" and click on "Add Rule" button.


  3. Click the Component drop down menu and select Network Share.
  4.  Type in the network/UNC path in the "From:" and "To:" fields.

  5. Click "OK" to save the rule.
