The folder component specifies which folder or subfolder is being referenced in a link.
  1. A folder path always includes both leading and trailing slashes or backslashes
            Examples: \countries\canada
                              /usr/samples/new/
Note: LinkFixer Advanced treats the preceding slash (or backslash) and the trailing slash (or backslash) as part of the folder.

Step-By-Step Guide

  1. Open LinkFixer Advanced and select Move/Rename.

  2. Select "Create Rules" and click on "Add Rule" button.

  3. Click on the Component drop down menu and select "Folder".

  4. Type in the folder/subfolder name in the "From:" and "To:".

  5. Click "OK" to save the rule.
