Error#4302 usually means that the child files (the files being linked to) were not included in the set of folders selected for the Cure process. Since LinkFixer Advanced cannot find those child files, it cannot repair the links.
  1. The child file is missing from the Cure scope.
  2. In the Processed Report, you won't see the child file listed in Column C.
  3. The report message "The link could not be cured because the child file was not found" confirms the issue.

How to fix it

  1. When setting up the Cure process, go to the Select Folders screen.
  2. Make sure you include:
    • The folders containing the parent files (files with links).
    • The folders containing the child files (files being linked to).
  1. Verify that child files were actually moved to the new location along with the parent files.
  2. If the new location of the child files was not selected, add it and re-run the Cure process.

Rule to remember

LinkFixer Advanced can only cure links if it can find and process both parent and child files.
