How do I cure a link to UNC

There are two ways to cure an absolute (mapped drive) link to a UNC path.

Option 1: Use Cure Settings

  1. Click on the Hamburger menu (☰).
  2. Go to settings.

  3. Select Cure.

  4. Check the boxes for "Apply the following rules to links when curing files" and "Convert mapped drives to UNC".

  5. Run the cure process. All mapped drive links will be converted to UNC paths.

Option 2: Enter UNC Path Directly

  1. In the Select Folders address bar, enter the target UNC path.

  2. The Network node will expand to follow the path entered.

  3. Select the desired folders under the Network node.


  4. The Preview will display the links to be cured as UNC paths.
