You can automate LinkFixer Advanced processes, such as Inoculate or Cure, by creating a batch file and scheduling it with Windows Task Scheduler.

Creating a Batch File for an Inoculate Job

      1. Open Notepad or another text editor on your computer.
      2. Paste the following command into the text editor:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\LinkTek\LinkFixer Advanced\LFAcmd.exe" -t=Inoculate -f="C:\Path\To\Your\Folder"

      3. Replace C:\Path\To\Your\Folder with the folder path you want to process.
      4. Save the file with a .bat extension, for example:

InoculateJob.bat

Scheduling the Inoculate Job Using Task Scheduler

  1. Open Task Scheduler by typing Task Scheduler in the Windows Search bar.
  2. In the left panel, right-click Task Scheduler Library and select New Folder.
  3. Name the folder something recognizable, such as LinkFixerJobs.
  4. Open the new folder, then right-click inside it and select Create Task.

      5. In the General tab, enter a name for the task (for example, InoculateJob).

      6. Select the Triggers tab and configure the schedule for when the task should run.

      7. Go to the Actions tab and click New.
      8. In the Program/script field, browse to and select your batch file (e.g., InoculateJob.bat).

      9. Click OK to save the task.

Creating Additional Scheduled Jobs (e.g., Cure)

  1. To create additional automated processes such as a Cure job:
  2. Create another batch file (for example, CureJob.bat) with the appropriate command.
  3. Repeat the Task Scheduler steps above.
  4. Give the task a descriptive name such as CureJob.
  5. Add the corresponding batch file under the Actions tab.

Viewing Your Scheduled Tasks

To view the tasks you have created:
  1. Open Task Scheduler from the Windows Start menu.
  2. In the left panel, select Task Scheduler Library.
  3. Navigate to the folder where your tasks were created (e.g., LinkFixerJobs).
  4. In the center pane, locate the scheduled task (such as InoculateJob or CureJob) to view or manage it.
