Yes, rename rules can be imported into LinkFixer Advanced using a Comma-Separated Value (CSV) file.

Template File

LinkFixer Advanced provides a template with examples of the correct format for importing rename rules.
  1. Location: "Desktop\LinkFixer Advanced\Settings" Folder. 

How to Import Rename rules

  1. Create your rename rules in a CSV file using the provided template format.
  2. Open the Rename Rules Wizard in LinkFixer Advanced.
  3. Click the Import button.
  4. Navigate to the CSV file you want to import.
  5. Select the file and click Open.
    1. The rules will be imported and displayed in the wizard screen.


Notes

  1. You can import virtually unlimited rename rules.
  2. LinkFixer Advanced has successfully tested imports of over 100,000 rules.
  3. Imported rules can be used in both the Move/Rename and Modify Links processes.
