Can LinkFixer Advanced Create Backup Files During Processing?

By default, LinkFixer Advanced does not automatically create backup copies of files that are modified during processing. However, this option can be enabled in the application settings.

Enabling Backup Creation

To configure LinkFixer Advanced to create backups of modified files:

1. Open the Main Menu (☰).

2. Select Settings.

3. Navigate to the Backups tab.

4. Enable the Create backups of modified files option.

On the same screen, you can also specify the location where the backup files will be stored.

Note: It is considered a best practice to create a complete backup of your data before running any software that moves or modifies files. We strongly recommend backing up your data before running LinkFixer Advanced.
