Yes. LinkFixer Advanced can move files into an OpenText Content Server while automatically preserving the integrity of all links contained within the files.
There are two ways to accomplish this:
1. Using the Move/Rename Process
- The Move/Rename process allows you to move files directly into OpenText.
- Links are automatically updated and preserved during the move.
- This method is often the simplest and fastest way to migrate files, as moving the files and fixing links is completed in a single process.
2. Using the Inoculate and Cure Processes
If you prefer to use a different migration utility:
- Inoculate – Run this process before moving files. It protects the links in your files, ensuring they are not permanently broken during migration.
- Migrate files – Use your preferred utility to move files into OpenText. Links may appear temporarily broken during this step.
- Cure – After migration, run the Cure process. It automatically repairs all links, restoring full integrity.
